Measures to support accessibility

Hoonigan Industries takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Hoonigan.com:

  • Includes accessibility as part of our ongoing website development work.
  • Commissions periodic accessibility audits combining automated scanning (axe-core, HTML_CodeSniffer) with manual keyboard and focus testing.
  • Reports accessibility defects in third-party components to the responsible vendors and tracks their resolution.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Hoonigan.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to achieve full conformance.

Known limitations

Our most recent audit (August 2026) identified issues we are remediating, including: some images and links missing text alternatives, autoplaying background video without a pause control, and keyboard focus handling in overlay dialogs. Some product review and cart features are provided by third-party applications whose accessibility defects we have reported to the vendors and are tracking. Some older blog articles contain images without text alternatives.
