Somewhere in the past 10 or 15 years, family sedans went from being a snooze fest to having 300 horsepower and quarter mile times that would embarrass a lot of vintage supercars. But have they caught up to our more recent old school heroes? Some smack talk around the garage got heated when we mentioned that the 2020 Nissan Maxima might be as fast as an R32 GT-R. So to see who’s the real winner, we lined up a press car alongside the only bone-stock R32 we know of in existence: Mr. Larry Chen’s minty 1990 GT-R.
